Modern Foreign Languages at Sandal Castle Primary is led by Miss Russell.
We are delivering the Lingotot KS2 MFL Course which is accredited by NCFE and CACHE, an awarding organisation recognised by the qualification regulators for England and Wales. This will be available for all children to access from Year 3 to Year 6.
• On completion of this course, learners will receive a certificate of achievement from NCFE through Lingotots’ IIQ Licence.
• Three levels of award are available which have been bench marked against Entry Level 1, Entry Level 2 and Entry Level 3.
• The course consists of 12 units. To be eligible for an award, learners should complete a minimum of five different units
• Learners complete internal assessments which are recorded in their portfolio for Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.
We encourage our children to become aware of other languages and cultures. The aim is to inspire our children to love learning different languages through a range of strategies such as through the use of games and songs.
