Together we Learn: Together we Live
Together we Grow: Together we Give
As a school, we value family and community. Together, we support each other by giving our time, our kindness, our love and our compassion to those around us.
As a result of this support, everyone is included so that we grow into respectful and resilient members of the global society in which we live.
At Sandal Castle our curriculum is driven by wonder, curiosity and high aspirations to inspire a life- long love of learning.
Our values underpin our vision and as a Voluntary Aided Church of England School, we interpret them through our understanding of important bible stories such as when Jesus fed the five thousand.
To further support the growth and understanding of our values with our children, we represent them through these characters.
They are:
Safe Daley, Lucy Learn, Katie Kind, Harry Helpful and Ruby Respect.

You will need to use your scientific skills to observe the change in the water after it has passed through your filter - you could record your results through photos/videos, written notes, an article for the school newspaper explaining your findings - whatever way works for you!
If you would like to find out more information about how water is made safe to drink and about different organisations which are working to provide clean water to the world, these links might be useful: https://www.wateraid.org/uk/the-crisis/water
